Xander Burchell ’16 Returns to Campus with Baltimore Ravens and Read Across America
On March 4, Calvert welcomed back alumnus Xander Burchell '16 as part of the Baltimore Ravens Read Across America initiative! Xander, a Fan Development & Activation Intern with the Ravens’ marketing team, read "What Do You Do With an Idea" by Kobi Yamada to our Eighth Age students.
He also took time to answer students’ questions about his role with the Ravens and reflect on his experiences as a Calvert student.

- "What was your favorite project you did at Calvert?" (building trebuchets in Mr. Howe's Ninth Age class!)
- "What was your favorite game during recess?" (kickball!)
- "Do you know Lamar Jackson?" (He's seen him around The Castle!)
- "What is marketing?"
