Liza Ward Jarrett ’77

Liza Ward Jarrett '77 is the owner and founder of Liza Byrd Boutique. She earned her BSM at Tulane University in 1987 and also studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Upon graduating college she was hired into the executive training program for Macy's NY where she was a department manager and part of the store opening team in Tyson's Corner, Va. Her love of fashion and retail continued to grow as a buyer for Merry Go Round stores based out of Joppa, Md. where she worked hand in hand with the design staff creating affordable fashion for the junior market.
