At Calvert School, our Upper School Placement team offers as much help and guidance as our families may need throughout the process, from searching for the best fit, to parent education, to the application process itself.
The upper school placement search begins in the Seventh Grade. Our students and parents attend a spring workshop designed to introduce each family to the overall process. The Upper School Placement Coordinator also meets with each family to answer questions and identify the schools that may be the best fit.
The following school year, our Eighth Grade students prepare for school visits by completing a student resume and practicing interviews with adults in our school community. Students and parents routinely meet with the Placement Coordinator throughout the fall and winter to analyze experiences and ultimately make an enrollment decision.
