Tic Tac Toe

Hello Beekeepers.
It was for the last game of the regular season that we were schedule to play Dumbarton. They were announced as being our toughest opponent of the regular season.

Our bees show up in numbers and with the right spirit. They were too fast in the first minutes for Dumbarton who kept running after the ball.
A challenging half as Dumbarton's midfield was very organized and difficult to go around. But our bees know how to use their wings, and it lead to many shots.
Eventually our efforts were rewarded with 2 goals in the first half.

In the second half minor tactical changes were made. On a few occasions, our bees played a beautiful passing game, with series of 10-15 passes to cross the filed leaving Dumbarton stunted.  Hadn't it been for a very slim offside call, our bees could have scored the goal of the season. A series of one-two passes, one touch, running in the open space, creating gaps for their teammates... In a very 2014 Tic Tac Toe Barcelona way, our bees were generating greatness.
A last goal sealed the game victory, 3-0.

The season was great and the bees were mostly dominating all their game. But now that playoff time is coming, everything is levelled again.
Let's hope our bees can fly for another two weeks!!
