From 6th Age to Old Age, Calvert Alumni Ben Hearn ’07 and Caroline Chriss ’07 Will Exchange Vows Next Weekend

Ben Hearn ’07 first met Caroline Chriss ’07 in the halls of Calvert in 6th Age. The two have remained good friends ever since.
After graduating college in 2015, the couple gathered a group of friends to live and work on Nantucket, and unknowingly began their love story. Six years later, Ben popped the question to Caroline on the Sconset bridge.

Caroline currently works as a full-time artist and is the owner of Caroline Chriss Fine Art. While she may live in New York City, her heart remains on Nantucket. She is an artist of seascapes, landscapes, and most recently, children’s portraiture. Working mainly in acrylics, her style is airy and serene, with her principal muse being the beach.

Ben is an Assistant Vice President at Barclays Investment Bank.

Calvert School still holds a meaningful place in the couple’s lives, and they returned to campus for their engagement photoshoot. They will marry on May 7 (coinciding with Calvert’s reunion weekend). There are six alumni in their wedding party: Pierce Classen ’07, Mercer Knott ’07, Elinor Murphy ’07, Lili Turner ’07, Laura Kameen ’00, and Jennifer Hearn ’04.

We wish the couple every happiness in their journey ahead.
