Lower Schoolers Read More Than 4,500 Hours in March
In the Lower School, students far exceeded their March Reading Madness goal of 3,000 hours! Lower School Librarian Mrs. Burkhart challenged students to read a total of 3,000 in one month, but students readily surpassed that goal, reading approximately 4,500 total hours.
Mr. Deuber's Tenth Age homeroom, Mrs. Burkhart shared, logged the most recorded hours of free reading.
To celebrate, the Lower School held a dress-down day that encouraged students to dress up as their favorite characters. Students also enjoyed a sweet treat for their efforts.
