John Williams '17 Elevates Intercollegiate Club Squash at W&L
When John Williams '17 arrived at Washington & Lee University in 2021, he quickly got involved with many of the organizations on campus - from University Ambassadors and Sigma Chi Fraternity to the Connolly Entrepreneurship Society. The one thing John felt was missing was the opportunity to play competitive squash.
John set out to create a club squash team that would play a strong intercollegiate schedule. “I knew that we had the potential to be a team not only in name, but actually be competitive,” John shared with W&L's paper The Columns. The growth and success of the team is a testament to John's leadership, and he was recently featured in The Columns.
